Skyblock: The Accessibility Update
Hey everyone! For this week's Skyblock content update we'll be covering the Accessibility Update! We're adding Taxi Signs, Lock Signs and an Island Auto-lock system!
Taxi Signs
Teleport to somewhere else on your island instantly through the Taxi Sign transit system!
To set up your Taxi Sign, simply write [TAXI] on the top line of your newly placed sign. Your sign will then say that the taxi sign setup is in progress.
After you've done that, you'll need to place another sign in the area you want to teleport to. After placing the other sign, right-click it and you'll be prompted in chat to name it.
After naming it, your Taxi Sign transit system is completely set up! Simply right-click the signs to instantly teleport between the two.
There will be a maximum of 5 Taxi Sign transit systems per island. If you want to remove a taxi sign, just chop it down and start again.
Lock Signs
You can now place lock signs on doors to prevent other players from accessing them! To create a Lock Sign, place the sign on the door you wish to lock then type [LOCK] on the top line. On the next line, type your name. Once you've done that, your door will become locked!
If you want to add other players to the locked door, then type their IGNs in the lines under your name. You can have up to 3 people on a Lock Sign. If you forget to add your name to the sign, you won't have access to the door, however you can break the sign and re-do it.
Lock Signs are intended for public islands where players won't have any build access. Players with build access on your island will still be able to break blocks and therefore can break doors and blocks under them. Be sure to only have members on your island that you can trust!
Island Auto-Lock
You can now set your island to automatically lock when you go offline. This means that no players will be able to teleport to your island when it's locked, and any players currently on your island will be sent to spawn when you go offline.
To access these settings, do /is and select Island. Players who are members of your island will not be kicked when you go offline.
