Factions: Amber Reset

Greetings everyone, the newest season of Factions Amber is here!

Realm Information

The next Amber map will release on Saturday June 19th 3:00 PM EST / 7:00 AM AEST / 8:00 PM BST.

The map will only last 15 days which means there will only be 1 payout that will be issued at the end of the map on Sunday 27th June @ 5PM EST.

• 8 day maps – 3 days of grace & 5 days of TNT
• 20 man factions
• 3 second cannons
• 15 Chunk Buffers
• Faction Shields last 16 hours
• 200 Power per player
• 45 Roster Size, 2 kicks per day, max of 4 at one time
• F Roster kick limits enabled on Sunday @ 3:10AM EST
• The IP Limit Plugin will be enabled on Sunday @ 3:10AM EST
• Faction Shields are set on Tuesday @ 3:10AM EST
• Mining Spawner costs change from being free to costing 40% of their shop price on Tuesday @ 3:10AM EST
• TNT drop rates changed from Grace drop rates (50%) to Raiding drop rates (100%) on Tuesday @ 3:10AM EST
• Faction Shields are disabled from 12PM-5PM EST on Payout Days
• 8 grinding areas of 18 Silverfish Spawners in the Mycelium World (Reached & Exited via an End Portal)
• Account Sharing Disallowed
• No Regens
• Sugarcane, Fishing, Mycelium & Spawner Economy
• The ECO sheet can be found here
• Custom Enchants & Bow boosting enabled.
• $1,600 F-Top - $1000 Paypal & $600 Buycraft
• 5 custom worlds along with the overworld with a border of 2500 x 2500 giving 24 corners – These can be reached with the warp names: End, Nether, Redworld, Greyworld & ClayWorld
• During grace, TNT & Creeper Eggs will be disabled
• During the first 30 minutes of the map, Faction Fly will be disabled

Faction-Top Payouts

As usual, the first 6 days of grace period will have no payout. Here are the prizes for the payout placings:

• First Place: $700 Paypal & $250 Buycraft
• Second Place: $200 PayPal & $150 Buycraft
• Third Place: $100 PayPal & $100 Buycraft
• Fourth Place: $50 Buycraft
• Fifth Place: $50 Buycraft

How do we get our payout if we win?

1. Set your PayPal email on the server with the command: /paypal [email]
2. Set your Buycraft email on the server with the command: /giftcard [email]

Emote Commands

Express how you're feeling by using the new chat emote commands! These new commands are now available to use on Factions, and everyone automatically has access to them. There is a 30 second cooldown between command usage, so they cannot be spammed.

Take a look at the 4 commands that are currently available below. As well as this, you can expect to see some cool new ones added in the future!

Sprays

Introducing Sprays! Paint images into the world in front of you whenever you like. You could be in with a chance of winning one of our many new Sprays when you open a crate on Factions. There's a wide variety to choose from including emojis, phrases, and icons that you can use in a range of occasions. After unlocking a spray, you can access it via the new /cosmetics menu.

Sprays come in different tiers, which can be won from certain crates, including lower tiered sprays coming from Vote Crates.

After selecting your Spray from the /cosmetics menu, you can activate it using the /spray command. There is a 30 second cooldown between spray uses. Take a look at just a few of the new sprays you could unlock!

Economy Changes

• This upcoming map of Amber will be a Sugarcane and Fishing economy alongside Silverfish (Mycelium).
• Sugarcane's sell price has been increased from $12 to $25.
• Netherstars' sell price has been increased from $6,000 to $12,000.
• The price to sell fish has been increased in the Safe Lake to match Sugarcane.
• The sell price of Wood Logs has been increased from $500 to $750. The buy price of Wood Logs will also be increased as a result.
• Emerald, Blaze Rods, Gold Ingots and Iron Ingots will all sell for 2.5x their current sell price.

Shorter Map Changes

We've made a number of changes to various features and rewards to accommodate the shorter season length.

• F missions will cost less and will be more obtainable.
• The amount of Boss, Deity and Koth keys have been buffed.
• The timings in /grace have been modified to fit the new schedule.
• The scheduled times for Raid Events have changed.
• The prizes for the Raid and FVF Events have changed.
• The prizes for the Raiding Outpost have changed and will be given out in shorter time periods.
• We will be changing our spawner percentage system resulting in spawners gaining 10% of their maximum F Top Value every 8 hours until it reaches 60%, and then gain 10% of their maximum F Top Value every 6 hours. This means it will take 3 days for your spawners to have their maximum F Top Value.
• The amount of TNT dropped by creepers will be increased to average 2.5 (from 1) drops per Creeper. The difference in % for the TNT to drop between Grace and Raiding will remain.
• The requirements to obtain a maxed Fish Sword, Mega Rod and maxed Harvester Hoe have been reduced.

Additional Changes

• Due to the bow boosting change, we will be moving the exit of Mycelium from near /warp PvP to /warp Arena, as well as modifying the Legendary rewards in the Monthly Dungeons and rewards obtained from the Raid Event, Raiding Outpost, and FvF Events.
• The Faction Roster Size will be 45 and there will be 2 kicks given each day up to a maximum of 4 being held at any one time.
• Due to the above changes, we will be disallowing Account Sharing and therefore will enable our plugin to limit the number of IPs allowed on an account in 24 hours.
• We will be only giving Faction Points to the players in the faction roster at the end of the map.
• The first raid event will be on Sunday at 4:00PM EST resulting in the Raiding Outpost also enabling after this Raid Event.
