Factions: Amber Reset

Greetings everyone, the newest season of Factions Amber is here!

Realm Information

Map 24 of the realm will release on Saturday April 25th @ 3:00 PM EST/6:00 AM AEST/8:00 PM BST

• 20 day maps – 6 days of grace & 14 days of TNT
• 25 man factions
• 4 second cannons
• 25 Chunk Buffers
• Faction Shields last 12 hours
• 175 Power per player
• 30 Roster Size – 2 kicks per day, max of 4 at one time
• F Roster kick limits enabled on Monday @ 3:15AM EST
• Faction Shields are set on Friday @ 3:15AM EST
• Mining Spawner costs change from being free to costing 40% of their shop price on Friday @ 3:15AM EST
• TNT drop rates changed from Grace drop rates (10%) to Raiding drop rates (50%) on Friday @ 3:15AM EST
• No Regens
• Sugarcane Economy
• Custom Enchants
• $2,000 F-Top - $1,000 Paypal & $1,000 Buycraft
• 5 custom worlds along with the overworld with a border of 2500 x 2500 giving 24 corners – These can be reached with the warp names: End, Nether, Redworld, Greyworld & ClayWorld
• During grace, TNT & Creeper Eggs will be disabled
• During the first 30 minutes of the map, Faction Fly will be disabled

Introducing the brand new Clayworld! Like the other worlds, this brand new world holds 4 corners but has green clay as far as the eye can see.

To get to the Clayworld, do /warp clayworld.

New Content

Duel Changes

The /duel plugin has had a revamp including a nice new menu and more settings! Players will now be able to participate in 2v2 & 2v1 duels if the map you fight on can hold more than 2 players. The soup bowls being empty or full indicate whether you've completed that part of the duel setup.

Create your own custom kit to duel someone with or use one of the new premade kits. Choose what type of armor, weapons, food and potions you want to use in your kit. You can create and save up to 4 custom kits.

Customize what enchantments you want on your armor and weapons.

Create a public or private duel. If your duel is public, then players will be allowed to spectate with /duel spectate [IGN] as well as the duel results being broadcast in chat for all players to see. You can turn off duel broadcasts in the duel setup menu.

/F Top Revamp

The /f top command has been revamped to show you the current worth and potential worth of a faction as well as a rundown of what type of spawners they have and how many of each.

The potential worth is an estimate of how much that faction is worth when their spawners reach their maximum levels.

When you do the /f top command, hover your mouse over each faction to get the additional details.

Creeper Spawner Changes

Creeper spawners will now cost $3,000,000 in the shop with their maximum /f top value also being $3,000,000. The mining costs for Creeper spawners will be doubling to $1,200,000 as a result.

Creeper drop rates will be cut in half for the whole map. This means during Raiding/TNT, there is a 50% chance that 1 piece of TNT will drop from a Creeper and during Grace there is a 10% chance.

New Outpost

We will be adding a second Outpost. This new Outpost will be located in the Mycelium World which can be reached via the End Portal.

Capturing this will give you a 1.5x Nether Star drop rate from Silverfish which can stack with the Fish Sword and a 1.5x EXP Booster.

Your faction cannot hold more than 1 Outpost at any given time. They will be able to neutralize an Outpost but unable to go any further if they already have the other outpost captured.

Mobcoin Shop revamp

The MobCoin Shop will receive a massive revamp and will now hold better items. This includes items like Void Chests, Stacker Wands, tools, armor, Infusion Pickaxes, Snowballs and more. Access the Mobcoin shop by doing /mobshop.

As well as this we are also introducing the Limited MobCoin Shop. This shop will allow you to purchase a small quantity of limited time items, with items changing and rotating to new items over time.

King of The Hill Updates

Due to the increased in activity on the server, we will be increasing the frequency of which events are happening at peak times. The events that will appear more often are KoTHs, Envoys and Boss spawns.

As a result of this change, we will be increasing the price of KoTH starters in the Mobshop.

KoTH rewards have also been updated, you can now receive the following:

1st Place – 3 Koth keys
2nd place – 2 Koth keys
3rd place – 1 Koth key

Additional Changes

-/f corners will show the corners of the 6 main worlds and whether the corners are claimed or unclaimed, but won’t show the faction owning it.

-A dispenser limit of 3,500 dispensers per cannon will be added.

-Only 5,000 gen buckets will be allowed to be generating at any one time for your faction – Don’t worry though, you’ll need loads of faction members genning before you hit this limit.

-We will be balancing the Archon Pass further.

-Sugarcane sell price will be lowered to $18 per sugarcane.

-/near will receive a 30 second cooldown.

-/f baltop & /flb will now show all players in your Faction Roster.

-While infected, a timer for how long this remains for will popup when using the PvP scoreboard.

-The Grind enchantment will be nerfed to give a smaller exp buff.

-Due to how easy it is to build godsets, you will now require more EXP to spin for books in /enchant. To spin a Level 1 enchant you will require the equivalent EXP of 20 levels, to spin a level 2 enchant it will be 40 levels & level 3 enchant will be 60 levels.

-You will now be able to view how many strikes every faction has in-game by looking at their faction information using /f who.

-You will not be able to use a Stacker Wand during Phase 1 of Lockdown near the active raid.

-You will now be able to buy horizontal cobweb GenBuckets for a price of $100 per GenBucket.

-During the first 30 minutes of the start of the world, Faction Fly will be disabled & the Queue System will be used to ensure the start of the world is a lot smoother

-There will not be any Raid Events on the first Saturday & Sunday of the map
