Prison: Azkaban Reset

Hello everyone, welcome to the Prison Azkaban Reset post!

The current season of Azkaban has come an end and the realm will be resetting this Saturday May 8th at 2:00 PM EST / 5:00 AM AEST / 7:00 PM GMT.

Payouts

We have weekly payouts for Plot Top. The prizes are as follows:

1st: $200 Paypal
2nd: $50 Paypal, $90 Buycraft
3rd: $25 Paypal, $50 Buycraft
4th: $25 Buycraft
5th: $15 Buycraft

You can win prizes if you're in one of the top 3 places in Prestige Top. The payouts for Prestige Top are:

1st: $50 Paypal
2nd: $30 Buycraft
3rd: $20 Buycraft

Blocks Mined Payouts are as follows:

1st: $50 Paypal
2nd: $30 Buycraft
3rd: $20 Buycraft

You can view the current standings for Prestige Top and Block Mined by finding the NPCs at spawn.

New Spawn

With a brand new season of Prison Azkaban comes a shiny new spawn! Take a look:

Pet Revamp

We have completely reworked how Pets work on Azkaban, making them more interactive and intricate than ever before!

Obtaining Pets
Elemental pets will now randomly spawn anywhere in the freeworld. All types of Elementals will spawn in any biome, however certain Elementals will have a higher chance to spawn in select biomes. Here are a few examples:

• Quartz - higher spawn chance in the Nether
• Emerald - higher spawn chance in mountains
• Coal - higher spawn chance underground in caves

In order to obtain an Elemental, you must catch one. Head over to the Freeworld spawn and you will find The Collector, they will sell you nets to catch the pets with.

Whilst holding a net, right-click the desired Elemental in the Freeworld to begin trying to catch them. There is a chance that you can obtain the Elemental as a pet, and when this happens the Elemental will appear in your inventory, however if you fail to catch the pet it will flee.

The Elementals you catch will have a random level from 1 to 5, with 5 being the hardest to find. Rarer types of Elementals would have an increased invisible toughness which makes them more difficult to catch. For example, Quartz Elementals would be harder to catch than Coal Elementals.

After catching your new pet, you can transfer them from the Freeworld to the Prison world, by purchasing Incubator Access from The Collector. This grants you access to /incubator or the incubator section in The Collector. When you're back in the main Prison world, you can use /incubator and can pull pets out from the menu.

Walking Pets
Previously you would right-click a pet from your Pet Ranch and a single pet would follow you around giving you a follower bonus. We've made a number of changes to how walking pets work.

After obtaining an Elemental in the Freeworld and placing it in the /incubator, you can go to the Prison world and do /incubator again to access it. After removing a pet from the incubator you can't place it back in, it's a one way trip!

The Elemental pet will go into your inventory when claimed. To activate the pet's Follower Bonus, you must right-click whilst holding the pet in your hand. Only one pet can have it's ability active at one time.

The pet will stay in your inventory as a pocket pet, or you can shift-right-click the pet whilst holding to get it to follow you. You don't have to get the pet to follow if you don't want to, as the follower bonus still works as normal if the pet is in your pocket. It is not necessary to physically walk your pet to level it up or gain the bonus.

Pets can still be placed and withdrawn from Pet Ranches on your plot like they previously could.

Leveling Pets
You can now level your pet up to level 10, gaining prizes every 2 levels you obtain with them (2, 4, 6, 8, 10). Pets will passively gain experience while in your hotbar and activated whilst mining. When you level up your pet, a message will appear in chat congratulating you on the new level.

Pets can still be merged in the Pet Ranch if they're the same level, however this has been changed slightly. When merging pets in the ranch, they're merged into the next major upgrade level (2, 4, 6, 8, 10). For example, two level 3 pets combined will make a level 4 pet, two level 4 pets will make a level 6 pet.

Cheetah Gang Changes

We've updated the rewards you receive from being a member of the Cheetah Gang:

• Level 2: 3x Tasty Sour Patch
• Level 3: 5% Reduction to /EXPShop
• Level 4: Fragment Chance Increase 1.25x
• Level 5: 2x Delicious Pop Rocks
• Level 6: 2 Extra Hearts
• Level 7: 10% Reduction to /EXPShop
• Level 8: Iron Elemental Boots
• Level 9: 1.05x Token Boost
• Level 10: 8x Delicious Sour Patch
• Level 11: Strength 1
• Level 12: 4 Extra Hearts
• Level 13: Iron Elemental Helmet
• Level 14: 15% off all rankup/prestige prices
• Level 15: Access to /kit Cheetah
• Level 16: 1.1x Token Boost
• Level 17: GSet Enchantments (Reflector V, Health Boost IV, Meteor 3, Anti Tank 2)
• Level 18: 6 Extra Hearts
• Level 19: Iron Elemental Leggings
• Level 20: One-Time /kit Godfather
• Level 21: 1.1x more blocks from mining
• Level 22: 5% Sell Booster
• Level 23: Strength 2
• Level 24: 8 Extra Hearts

Outpost Changes

In the last reset post we said that we would be alternating between the Odyssey Outpost and the Regular Outpost. However after monitoring involvement and interactions with the Outposts this past season, we have decided to stick with the regular Outpost for the foreseeable future.

Although, we may have special maps that could include the Odyssey Outpost but these will occur a lot less frequently than we had originally planned. That being said, take a look at the brand new Outpost map!

Additional Changes

• We have removed Mystery Pet Eggs from everywhere other than the server store.
• We’ll be balancing out the Totem challenges to make it fairer to players who don’t have full teams.
• Following community feedback from our survey, we have decided to reinstate the teaming rule at the Outpost. This will be added to the rules on the day of reset.
