Prison Azkaban Reset

Hello everyone, welcome to the Prison Azkaban Reset post!

The current season of Azkaban has come an end and the realm will be resetting this Saturday October 3rd at 2:00 PM EST / 4:00 AM AEST / 7:00 PM BST.

We hope you've all been enjoying Prison on The Archon and are looking forward to the next season. Thank you all for your support and suggestions regarding the Azkaban server, you're helping every day by making it a better realm for you all to enjoy. Without further ado, lets get into the new content!

The Quarry & Custom Ores

When you reach Prestige level 1, you will gain access to the brand new Quarry area and will be gifted a Lost Miner Pickaxe. The Quarry area will be home to 6 mines, with each mine having it's own unique custom ore inside.

When you mine the custom ore, there will be a chance for you to get the custom ore item in your inventory, which you'll then be able to use to create special Custom Ore pickaxes. The drop rate for the custom ore depends on the level of the Custom Ore pickaxe and what abilities you have unlocked - mining these ores levels up your pickaxe and allows you to upgrade the perks and improve it's abilities.

Here's what custom ores you can look forward to seeing and when you can mine them:

Ruby (Prestige 1)
Topaz (Prestige 5)
Platinum (Prestige 10)
Cobalt (Prestige 15)
Opal (Prestige 20)
Uranium (Prestige 25)

As shown in the list, after every 5 Prestige levels you will gain access to a new mine area in the Quarry. You will only be able to mine blocks successfully in the new ore mine if you have crafted a pickaxe using the custom ores of the previous mine tier. For example, you can only mine Platinum ore (tier 3) if you have a pickaxe made out of Topaz ore (tier 2).

Normal diamond pickaxes will not be able to mine custom ores, but Custom Ore pickaxes can mine normal ores as well as custom ores. Here's what you can expect to see when you use and upgrade the Custom Ore pickaxes:

Ruby Pickaxe

Abilities: Token Surge (Chance to make you gain 2x more tokens for 15s)

Token Surge upgrade I - unlocked at level 25 - Chance to make you gain 2x more tokens for 20s
Token Surge Upgrade II - unlocked at level 50 - Chance to make you gain 2x more tokens for 25s
Token Surge Upgrade III - unlocked at level 75 - Chance to make you gain 2x more tokens for 30s

Abilities: Fragment Grinder - unlocked at level 100 - Reduce the amount of blocks needed to be mined for fragments by 1%

Topaz Pickaxe

Abilities: Token Surge (Chance to make you gain 2x more tokens for 30s)

Token Surge Upgrade I - unlocked at level 30 - Chance to make you gain 2.5x more tokens for 15s
Token Surge Upgrade II - unlocked at level 45 - Chance to make you gain 2.5x more tokens for 20s
Token Surge Upgrade III - unlocked at level 60 - Chance to make you gain 2.5x more tokens for 25s

Abilities: Fragment Grinder - unlocked at level 25 (Reduce needed blocks mined for fragments by 2%)

Fragment Grinder Upgrade I - unlocked at level 50 - Reduce needed blocks mined for fragments by 3%
Fragment Grinder Upgrade II - unlocked at level 75 - Reduce needed blocks mined for fragments by 4%
Fragment Grinder Upgrade III - unlocked at level 100 - Reduce needed blocks mined for fragments by 5%

Platinum Pickaxe

Abilities: Token Surge (Chance to make you gain 2.5x more tokens for 30s)

Token Surge Upgrade I - unlocked at level 25 - Chance to make you gain 3x more tokens for 15s
Token Surge Upgrade II - unlocked at level 50 - Chance to make you gain 3x more tokens for 20s
Token Surge Upgrade III - unlocked at level 75 - Chance to make you gain 3x more tokens for 25s

Abilities: Fragment Grinder (Reduce needed blocks mined for fragments by 5%)

Fragment Grinder Upgrade I - unlocked at level 30 - Reduce needed blocks mined for fragments by 7.5%
Fragment Grinder Upgrade II - unlocked at level 60 - Reduce needed blocks mined for fragments by 10%

Abilities: Dust Miner - unlocked at level 100 - (Chance of giving you a random amount of dust)

Cobalt Pickaxe

Abilities: Token Surge (Chance to make you gain 3x more tokens for 30s)
Abilities: Fragment Grinder (Reduce Needed blocks mined for fragments by 10%)

Fragment Grinder Upgrade I - unlocked at level 25 - Reduce needed blocks mined for fragments by 12.5%
Fragment Grinder Upgrade II - unlocked at level 50 - Reduce needed blocks mined for fragments by 15%

Abilities: Dust Miner - unlocked at level 30 - (Chance of giving you a random amount of dust)

Dust Miner Upgrade I - unlocked at level 45 - Chance of giving you a random amount of dust in a range of 100-500
Dust Miner Upgrade II - unlocked at level 60 - Chance of giving you a random amount of dust in a range of 100-500

Abilities: Upgrader Bomb - unlocked at level 100- (Will upgrade 25% of the blocks in a radius of 3 around the broken block)

Opal Pickaxe

Dust miner Upgrade I - unlocked at level 25 - Chance of giving you a random amount of dust in a range of 100-500
Dust miner Upgrade II - unlocked at level 50 - Chance of giving you a random amount of dust in a range of 100-500
Dust Miner Upgrade III - unlocked at level 75 - Chance of giving you a random amount of dust in a range of 100-500

Abilities: Upgrader Bomb - unlocked at level 50 - (Will upgrade 25% of the blocks in a radius of 4 around the broken block)

Upgrader Bomb Upgrade I - unlocked at level 100 - Will upgrade 25% of the blocks in a radius of 4 around the broken block

Abilities: Tunneler - unlocked at level 100 - (Mines the 4 blocks around the block it mines)

Uranium Pickaxe

Abilities: Token Surge (Chance to make you gain 3x more tokens for 30s)
Abilities: Fragment Grinder (Reduce needed blocks mined for fragments by 15%)
Abilities: Dust Miner (Chance of giving you a random amount of dust)
Abilities: Upgrader Bomb (Will upgrade 25% of the blocks in a radius of 5 around the broken block)

Upgrader Bomb Upgrade I - unlocked at level 25 - Will upgrade 25% of the blocks in a radius of 5 around the broken block
Upgrader Bomb Upgrade II - unlocked at level 50 - Will upgrade 25% of the blocks in a radius of 5 around the broken block
Upgrader Bomb Upgrade III - unlocked at level 75 - Will upgrade 25% of the blocks in a radius of 5 around the broken block

Abilities: Tunneler (Mines the 4 blocks around the block it mines) (Unlocked at level 30)

Tunneler I - unlocked at level 65 - Mines a 3x3 around the block it mines
Tunneler II - unlocked at level 100 - Mines a 3x3x2 around the block it mines

Enchantment Powder

Currently, Dust is used to get enchantment books with higher percentages from the Dust Collector at spawn (to get Dust, you must trade in your old unwanted enchantment books). However, there's not much you can do about the enchantment book's percentages after you've purchased it.

Introducing Enchantment Powder! You can buy this powder from the Dust Collector in exchange for Dust. When this Enchantment Powder is applied to enchantment books, it will increase the success rate! To access the Dust Collector, find him at spawn or do /warp dust.

Pet Armory Building

The Pet Armory is now a separate building from the normal Pet Ranch. As well as this, depending on your rank, you'll have access to more slots in the Pet Armory. If you're unsure about how the Pet Armory works, check out this recent content update that explains it all:

Additional Changes

Money pouches' % of money given has now been capped at Prestige 5. If you're Prestige 15 for example, you will get the same amount of money as if you were Prestige 5.
We have changed the price of Money Pouches in the /expshop as a result of this.
The Prestige prices have been lowered, so you will need to spend less money to prestige.
The Upgrader enchantment activation has been buffed, so it will happen more frequently now.
You can now get Gang EXP Boosters would boost the amount of exp you get from doing gang related tasks. These boosters will be rewards you can get from The Archon Pass.
The shop has had some much needed quality of life updates, including adding more blocks & showing on the block's description where you can find that type of block in the mines.
Will just be boosting the max amount of slots a Backpack/Void Backpack can have.
Freeworld challenges and rewards are being slightly changed and buffed, which makes completing them more worth your time.
