Skyblock: Chaos Reset

Hey everyone, welcome to the Skyblock Chaos reset post.

The new map of Chaos will be released this Saturday November 20th @ 1:00 PM EST / 3:00 AM AEST / 6:00 PM GMT.

Let's jump right in! With the new reset comes a new spawn, screenshots can be found below:

Island Top Payouts

Skyblock Chaos has weekly Payouts for the top islands. Here's what you can expect to win:

1st: $200 Paypal
2nd: $50 Paypal & $90 Buycraft
3rd: $25 Paypal & $50 Buycraft
4th: $25 Buycraft
5th: $15 Buycraft

How do we get our payout if we win?

Set your PayPal email on the server with the command: /paypal [email]
Set your Buycraft email on the server with the command: /giftcard [email]

Crop Top Payouts

The top 3 players with the most crops harvested (now counting all crops) at the end of the season will receive the following rewards:

1st: $50 Paypal
2nd: $30 Buycraft
3rd: $15 Buycraft

Economy

We have spent some time reworking and re-balancing the Chaos economy. The new economy document can be found here:

Harvester Hoes

Harvester Hoes are now able to be prestiged, after you've purchased 5/5 upgrades on all of the current enchantments. Once completed, you will be able to use the command /prestige which resets your hoe's upgrades to 0/5, however you will now have access to exclusive enchantments as well as increased base stats and proc rates on all enchantments! The Prestige enchantments are as follows:

Enhancer (Prestige 1) - Chance to find Enhanced Sugarcane
Pouch Finder (Prestige 2) - Chance to find mcMMO and Money Pouches (From tier 1 - Tier 4) Tier 4 pouches are a new pouch exclusively obtained via the Pouch Finder upgrade
BlackHole (Prestige 3) - Sucks all Sugarcane into a blackhole with a 10x10 radius
Farming Party (Prestige 3) - Gives all primary island members a temporary Sugarcane Sell Booster and Token Booster when hitting Sugarcane

Iron Golem Sword

This brand new sword has the ability to kill Iron Golems in 1 hit! This will allow Iron Golem Mob Armor sets to be easier to grind. You can find the new Iron Golem Sword in the Power Shop using the /pshop command. You will be required to complete challenges before you can purchase this sword.

Sugarcane Set

Introducing the new custom armor set that gives massive bonusses to the wearer while they're harvesting Sugarcane. The set has 3 variants - Common, Rare and Legendary, with each set giving different bonusses. When a piece of Sugarcane armor is crafted, it will randomly be assigned a rarity.

Common Set - Increased chance to get Enhanced Sugarcane
Rare Set - Increased chance to get Enhanced Sugarcane, and increased sell booster on Sugarcane
Legendary Set - Increased chance to get Enhanced Sugarcane, increased sell booster on Sugarcane, and increased Token Booster when harvesting Sugarcane

To be able to craft Sugarcane armor, you will need a stack of 64 Enhanced Sugarcane in each slot. To obtain Enhanced Sugarcane you will need to unlock the Enhancer Enchantment upgrade from the Harvester Hoes.

Free For All

A rotating cycle of maps has been added for FFAs, meaning that every time there is a FFA event, there will be a different map to the one before. This keeps it more exciting for players who take part in this event, as you won't have the same map over and over again.

As well as this, there will be a rotating cycle of kits that are used in the FFA events, which also spices up the event! Some examples of kits are:
- Mob Armor
- Archer
- Diamond OCN
- MCSG
- Build UHC
- and more!

Pet Changes

Pets no longer despawn, and instead will have an energy level. This means that pets must be fed using the new Pet Food if you want them to continue giving boosts. If a pet runs out of energy, you can still spawn it however no boosts will be received. Pet food can be purchased from the /pet menu.

As well as this, we're introducing a new way to level pets! If you feed your pet a tasty Pet Treat, then a large amount of Pet EXP will be rewarded. These new Pet Treats can be obtained via crate keys, the Archon Pass /pass, MobShop and the new Arcade Games.

We have also had to say goodbye to some of the beloved pets that just weren't being used as they didn't give effective bonuses, and replaced them with some awesome new and improved ones!

Removed pets:
- Bear
- Luck
- Doge
- Hippo

New pets:
- Sloth
Increased chance for mcMMO drops when chopping wood from /forest as well as chance for double wood drops.

- Monstore
Increased chance for mcMMO drops when mining ores from /deep as well as increased chance to receive Shards when mining ores in the /deep.

- Groot
Decreases the custom tree growth time when pet is active as well as gives a chance to increase profits when watering trees.

- Monkey
Chance to receive extra Mobcoins/Tokens when killing mobs.

- Frog
Chance to receive extra Mobcoins/Tokens when farming crops.

The Arcade

The Casino has been completely revamped and renamed, turning it into a super fun, competitive, multiplayer minigames hub! Team up with your friends or go up against opponents in the new minigames to receive rewards.

There are 6 new minigames, take a look at what you can expect from 3 of them below. To find out what the other minigames are, you'll need to see them in-game for yourself when the new season begins!

- Horse Racing
Place your money on which horse you think will win the race! In this awesome new game, you can actually see the horses riding down the track in real time, all racing each other to the finish line.

As an added bonus, the player who has received the most money from Horse Racing at the end of the season, will get their very own horse named after them in the game the following season! You will be able to place money and race this special horse like any of the normal horses.

- Mob Battles
Ever wondered what would happen if a Silverfish fought a Wither? Here's your chance to find out in the new minigame Mob Battles! In each round, 2 new mobs will spawn, ready to fight. Players will be able to place money on which fighter they think will win the epic battle. The winner is a 50/50 chance, so it doesn't matter how big or small the mob is, anyone can win!

- Bow Boost Battles
Show off your Bow-boosting skills and race solo against an opponent, or boost along with a friend in the duo mode in the new Bow Boost Battles game!

Robots

We've increased the duration of free Robot claims from just Friday, to Friday - Sunday! There is now a usage timer, that allows you to use your free Robot for a total of 24 hours throughout the weekend. This means that it keeps track of time based on when your Robot has been spawned in.

As well as this, we've added a random chance for a Robot to come with model boosts and different tiers.

Machine Changes

The Research and Crafting Machines have been merged into one, named "A Machine". You can level up your Machines by crafting custom items, which unlocks new recipes with every level. Each custom item will have a set amount of EXP given towards levelling up your Machine.

We've also decided to remove a few recipes, as well as the Planting Machines. Take a look at what has been removed below:

Content Updates

As you may know already, we release content updates for Skyblock. This means that you won't have to wait for updates to be added just during the resets, instead you'll see new features added monthly!

September Content Update

For this month's content update we introduced an update to The Deep, that allows you to mine Shards to create the Quarry, as well as fight the new mini bosses!

August Content Update

We have made a number of quality of life changes to various features on Skyblock. This includes adding brand new Death Messages and Kill Effects, and improving how Chunk Hoppers and Cobblestone Generators work.

July Content Update

We took a look at our existing pets on Skyblock and made some balancing changes, as well as added some awesome new pets that you can collect!
