Skyblock: Chaos Reset

Hey everyone, welcome to the Skyblock Chaos reset post.

The new map of Chaos will be released this Saturday October 2nd @ 1:00 PM EST / 3:00 AM AEST / 6:00 PM BST.

Let's jump right in! With the new reset comes a new spawn, screenshots can be found below:

Island Top Payouts

Skyblock Chaos has weekly Payouts for the top islands. Here's what you can expect to win:

1st: $200 Paypal
2nd: $50 Paypal & $90 Buycraft
3rd: $25 Paypal & $50 Buycraft
4th: $25 Buycraft
5th: $15 Buycraft

How do we get our payout if we win?

Set your PayPal email on the server with the command: /paypal [email]
Set your Buycraft email on the server with the command: /giftcard [email]

Crop Top Payouts

The top 3 players with the most crops harvested (now counting all crops) at the end of the season will receive the following rewards:

1st: $50 Paypal
2nd: $30 Buycraft
3rd: $15 Buycraft

Economy

We have spent some time reworking and re-balancing the Chaos economy. The new economy document can be found here:

Changes

We having a multi-economy this season, meaning players can decide which economy option they want to grind out throughout the season (Sugarcane, Woodcutting or Fishing). Woodcutting will be a better way of earning money in the early game, whilst Fishing will be better for Tokens and Sugarcane will be a middle ground and give both Tokens and money.

Progression

You can work together with your island members to grind out the different economy options, as each will have stat requirements that you will need to reach before you can receive the new Chaotic Crate. When you've hit the required amount for Woodcutting, Sugarcane and Fishing, everyone on your island will receive 1 Chaotic Crate each.

The required stats that you must reach in order to receive a crate is different depending on how many island members you have - this means that islands with more members will require more wood to be obtained, more sugarcane to be harvested, and more fish to be caught than islands with fewer members.

2 man island - Woodcutting: 72k Sugarcane: 270k Fishing: 1080
3 man island - Woodcutting: 108k Sugarcane: 405k Fishing: 1620

5 man island - Woodcutting: 180k Sugarcane: 675k Fishing:2700
6 man island - Woodcutting: 216k Sugarcane: 820k Fishing: 3240
7 man island - Woodcutting: 252k Sugarcane: 945k Fishing: 3780
8 man island - Woodcutting: 288k Sugarcane: 1.080m Fishing: 4320

You will be able to track your progress using the /progress command in chat. The progression menu will show you how much more of each item you will need to obtain before you can claim your Chaotic Crate.

- Iron Golem Spawners
- Guardian Spawners
- Custom tag
- Event Bundles
- Pet Boosters (1 hour)
- Pass Skips
- Robot Model Z upgrades
- Silverfish Spawners
- Sell Chests
- Ranks

Festivals

Like during the previous seasons of Chaos, there will be Festivals however this season it will be slightly different. Instead of participating in the previous Farming Festival, this season it’s just named the Festival and you will be able to participate in it by either Fishing, Woodcutting or harvesting Sugarcane.

Buffs during festival
- x2 Woodcutting drops and stats towards /Progress
- x2 Sugarcane drops and stats towards /Progress
- x2 Fish weight in KG

Harvester hoes

We have replaced Farmers Axes with Harvester Hoes in the upcoming season. These new tools will be used to harvest Sugarcane and can be upgraded to have some useful abilities.

Harvester Hoes can be won from the Archon Pass /pass or purchased directly from the server store.

Upgrades:
- Harvester: Increased drops
- Token Scan: Increased Tokens
- Haste: Gives Haste
- Key Hunter: Finds keys while harvesting Sugarcane
- Spawner Finder: Finds spawners while harvesting Sugarcane

Content Updates

As you may know already, we release content updates for Skyblock. This means that you won't have to wait for updates to be added just during the resets, instead you'll see new features added every month!

September Content Update

For this month's content update we introduced an update to The Deep, that allows you to mine Shards to create the Quarry, as well as fight the new mini bosses!

August Content Update

We have made a number of quality of life changes to various features on Skyblock. This includes adding brand new Death Messages and Kill Effects, and improving how Chunk Hoppers and Cobblestone Generators work.

July Content Update

We took a look at our existing pets on Skyblock and made some balancing changes, as well as added some awesome new pets that you can collect!
