Hey everyone, welcome to the Skyblock Genesis reset post!
The new map of Genesis will be released this Saturday 5th February @ 1:00 PM EST / 3:00 AM AEST / 6:00 PM GMT
Island Top Payouts
Skyblock Genesis has weekly Payouts for the top islands. Here's what you can expect to win:
1st: $200 Paypal
2nd: $50 Paypal & $90 Buycraft
3rd: $25 Paypal & $50 Buycraft
4th: $25 Buycraft
5th: $15 Buycraft
How do we get our payout if we win?
- Set your PayPal email on the server with the command: /paypal [email]
- Set your Buycraft email on the server with the command: /giftcard [email]
New Spawn
Let's jump right in! With the new reset comes an awesome new spawn! This season we've decided to revamp the spawn and warzone, meaning they will no longer be in the same world - this is to try to reduce lag when going to /spawn as well as during PvP.
Economy
Along with the new spawn, we have spent some time reworking and re-balancing the Genesis economy. The new economy document can be found here:

The following changes have also been made:
- Nerfed Trees - this includes a reduced drop rate from mcMMO
- Outpost portal price has been increased by 15%
- Increased the chance of Snowmen appearing in /Mobshop
- Ghast Tear price now increases 10% each week on the Saturday morning realm reboot
Additional Changes
- We will be removing the Monkey and Frog pets.
- The Doge pet will be revived and reworked with the current pet system that was released during the Skyblock revamp.
- There is now an update in chat showing how much money/Mobcoins/EXP you've earned every 5 minutes.
- Decreased the Autosell Ghast Backpack cooldown to 10 minutes.
- Kits will be buffed.
Last Reset
During the last Genesis reset, we added a lot of awesome new features including Iron Golem Sword, FFA, pet changes - huge revamp, The Arcade, and Machine Changes. Check them out in the post below.
