The new map of Genesis will be released this Saturday 11th September @ 1:00 PM EST / 3:00 AM AEST / 6:00 PM GMT

Economy

Along with the new spawn, we have spent some time reworking and re-balancing the Genesis economy. The new economy document can be found here:

Island Top Payouts

Skyblock Genesis has weekly Payouts for the top islands. Here's what you can expect to win:

1st: $200 Paypal
2nd: $50 Paypal & $90 Buycraft
3rd: $25 Paypal & $50 Buycraft
4th: $25 Buycraft
5th: $15 Buycraft

How do we get our payout if we win?

1. Set your PayPal email on the server with the command: /paypal [email]
2. Set your Buycraft email on the server with the command: /giftcard [email]

Upgradable Ghast Tear Backpacks

In the upcoming Genesis reset, you will be able to upgrade your Ghast Backpacks and unlock access to sell all Ghast tears contained inside.

Tournaments

During festivals, players will also be competing against each other to see who can kill the most Endermites. Anyone that takes part will be placed into a division and will be able to claim their division rewards at /spawn.

Divisions:
- Bronze = Top 50% of Endermites killed
- Silver = Top 25% of Endermites killed
- Gold = Top 10% of Endermites killed
- Platinum = 2nd & 3rd place
- Champion = 1st place

Outpost Change

The Outpost portal timer has changed from opening every 10 minutes to every 5 minutes, making it easier to exit the dedicated Outpost world. You will need to unlock the Outpost Portal on your island before teleporting there - find out more by doing /outpost in chat.

You can now also grind Endermites in the warzone below spawn, however the Outpost world will contain a higher amount of spawners in each stack compared to the spawn warzone.

Witch Mob Armor

Last season we released the new Witch Mob Armor, and over the duration of the season we have been seeing how effective the set was. As a result, we have buffed normal Mob Armor's protection from 10 to 12, and Witch Mob Armor's protection from 8 to 10.

Bi-Weekly Updates

As you may know already, we release bi-weekly content updates for Skyblock. This means that you won't have to wait for updates to be added just during the resets, instead you'll see new features added every 2 weeks!
