Skyblock: Genesis Reset

Hey everyone, welcome to the Skyblock Genesis reset post!

The new map of Genesis will be released this Saturday July 24th @ 1:00 PM EST / 3:00 AM AEST / 6:00 PM GMT

Let's jump right in! With the new reset comes an awesome new futuristic space themed spawn, screenshots can be found below:

Outpost

Take a look at this mystical new Outpost build, an ancient enchanted tower found in the middle of a vast open space. Once bustling with activity, now waiting to be claimed once more.

Economy

Along with the new spawn, we have spent some time reworking and re-balancing the Genesis economy. The new economy document can be found here:

Island Top Payouts

Skyblock Genesis has weekly Payouts for the top islands. Here's what you can expect to win:

1st: $200 Paypal
2nd: $50 Paypal & $90 Buycraft
3rd: $25 Paypal & $50 Buycraft
4th: $25 Buycraft
5th: $15 Buycraft

How do we get our payout if we win?

Set your PayPal email on the server with the command: /paypal [email]
Set your Buycraft email on the server with the command: /giftcard [email]

Emite Sword & Festival

Introducing the new Emite Sword! This new Mob Sword can be crafted just like the other Mob Swords, however you must use Enhanced Endermite heads.

This powerful new sword will have 4 upgradeable tiers that have a chance to give you double loot drops. Drops include items like Zombie spawners, custom tags, or even crate keys! To upgrade your Emite sword, you will need to complete challenges.

The Emite Festival is an event that takes place in the Outpost world every 3 hours. For 30 minutes, all Endermites that are killed will drop double what they usually drop. Find out how you can get to the Outpost by doing /outpost in-game.

You'll be able to purchase a special Backpack that stores only Ghast Tears - the drops you receive from killing Endermites. When the new season goes live, you'll be able to purchase it on our server store here.

Witch Armor

Witch Armor is a wickedly awesome support-type armor set that applies bonus effects to all island members within 25 blocks of the wearer. Create your own Witch armor by using Enhanced Witch heads in the usual Mob Armor style crafting system.

Each piece in the set will give you certain effects, and when the whole set is worn, you'll be able to use the special ability! Take a look at what you can expect to see:

1st armor Piece: Speed III (3)
2nd armor Piece: Regeneration II (2)
3rd armor Piece: Resistance I (1)
Special Ability: Gives island members effects in a 25 block radius

Runes

These mystical items radiate magic passively when held to give you powerful boosts that are useful in day-to-day life on Skyblock. When right-clicked, these Runes will unleash their full power for a brief moment, granting better effects compared to when they are held passively.

Orange - Strength - passive effect is strength 2, when right-clicked you'll get strength 3 for 5 seconds - Consumes 40 Mana

Pink - Regeneration - passive effect is regen 2, when right-clicked you'll get regen 3 for 5 seconds - Consumes 40 Mana

Green - Resistance - No passive effect, when right-clicked you'll get res 2 for 5 seconds - Consumes 40 Mana

Grey - Slowness - No passive effect, when right-clicked you'll get slowness 2 for 5 seconds - Consumes 50 Mana

Black - Wither Effect - No passive effect, when right-clicked you'll get wither 2 for 5 seconds - Consumes 50 Mana

Your Mana level regenerates over time. Every player has up to 120 Mana, and it regenerates at a speed of 2 Mana per second.

Bi-Weekly Updates

As you may know already, we release bi-weekly content updates for Skyblock. This means that you won't have to wait for updates to be added just during the resets, instead you'll see new features added every 2 weeks!

Express how you're feeling by using the new chat emote commands, paint images into the world in front of you whenever you like when using Sprays, or use the new Robot skins and the freshly reworked titles!

May Content Update

For this content update we introduced the brand new Enderman Mob Armor, added Mobshop Hot Deals as well as a new Mobcoin menu, and Island Prefixes.
