Skyblock Horizon: Seasonal Realm

Introducing our newest realm, Skyblock Horizon! Special maps will be hosted on this realm every 3-4 months, or when there is a seasonal event throughout the year. This new realm will be highly active, with short maps, small teams and high payouts.

The usual Paypal payout rules won't affect this seasonal map, meaning if you are winning payouts on any other realm on The Archon, you can still compete for payouts on the Horizon realm.

The new Horizon realm will be released this Sunday 26th December @ 1:00 PM EST / 3:00 AM AEST / 6:00 PM GMT

Map Details & Payouts

This map will be short and intense, take a look at what you can expect to see on Horizon during this season:

• 5 Man Islands
• 2 Week Map
• Payouts at the end of both weeks - $1700 total map payout

1st: $600 Paypal ($1200 total for both weeks)
2nd: $200 Paypal ($400 total for both weeks)
3rd: $50 Paypal ($100 total for both weeks)

How do we get our payout if we win?

1. Set your PayPal email on the server with the command: /paypal [email]
2. Set your Buycraft email on the server with the command: /giftcard [email]

Economy

Take a first glance at this highly active realm's economy before the map begins this Sunday. Be sure to stay up to date on all the best money-making methods to get ahead in the game!

This season's economy will be a trio economy, meaning players can choose any 1 of 3 ways to grind the highest amount of money, the quickest. These economy options are:

• Woodcutting at the new and improved warp /forest  
• Mining at the new and improved warp /deep
• Fishing at warp /lake

Temporary Ranks

On the Horizon Realm, ranks that are purchased will only last the duration of the season. This means that in the future, when we host another map on Horizon, the rank will not carry over / be transferred.

As will all Skyblock ranks, each rank will have certain set of perks and permissions, and the higher the rank the better the perks! However, there will only be 4 ranks that you can purchase, as opposed to the usual 7. The rank names will be Jolly, Reindeer, Star and Frosty! You will be able to purchase them from the server store here.

Rotating Daily Festivals

Throughout the map, there will be a different type of festival each day, meaning that on these days a specific economy option will be better than the other 2 options.

For example, on Monday there could only be Woodcutting Festivals, Tuesday there could be only Mining Festivals, Wednesday could be only Fishing Festivals and so on. Each Festival will last for 1 hour and will take place every 4 hours.

Dragon Egg Event

This new event will take place on the following Saturday after Horizon goes live. The Dragon Egg event will give teams a chance to prove who is truly the best on the server, as not only will you be fighting against a Dragon boss, but other teams too.

You must fight to slay the Dragon, and when it is slain, that is only the beginning of the event. You will need to obtain the Dragon Egg and try to escape with it. Everyone that partakes in this event will receive the same kit to make it fair, and if you die, you will be eliminated from the event thus unable to return.

The winners of the event will get to keep the Dragon Egg, worth a lot of Island Top value, as well as all Island members receiving an exclusive tag, only obtainable from the event. The ultimate bragging rights!

The Dragon Egg event will allow the victors to get a good chunk of value mid-season, so make sure you attend if you want to fight for that Island Top #1 spot! It will truly be a battle of wit, PvP strength, strategy and good teamwork. Be prepared!

Saturday 1st January 2022 @ 1:00PM EST

Odyssey Outpost

The Outpost will open once every 3 hours and will stay open for 15 minutes. During these 15 minutes is when it is available to be captured. Teams will need to fight against other teams to take control the Outpost point, and when your team is in control of the Outpost, standing on the point you will gain +1 score every second. The first team to reach 500 points, or the team with the highest score after 15 minutes will capture the Outpost.

Candy Cane Forest

It's the most wonderful time of the year! What better way to celebrate the festive holiday than harvesting inventories full of tasty Candy Canes!

Candy Cane Forests are located in the /Outpost and /Warp PvP, both dangerous places where PvP is enabled. You will need to harvest the Candy Canes growing in these areas using the Candy Shears, purchasable from the Candy Man located at the Outpost warp.

These areas are filled with other hungry players who could easily kill you, but it's worth taking this risk as Candy Cane sells for a lot of money, so are you brave enough?

Buffed ArchonPass - New Challenges

For this season of Horizon, we've buffed the /ArchonPass to better suit the trio economy, so it is more viable for all players. You will no longer have to go out of your way to complete tedious tasks just to progress.

Updated Deep

The updated warp /Deep will now have a progression system that allows you to advance into different mining zones. Each zone that you progress to will have better ores to mine which will sell for more money.

For every ore that you mine, you will be given EXP levels. These levels are what allows you to progress to the next mining zone, and can be tracked using /progress. You can use this command to also see how far away you are from unlocking the next zone in the Deep.

Updated Forest

Similarly to the Deep, the warp /Forest will now have a progression system that allows you to advance into different forest zones. Each zone that you progress to will have better trees and wood to chop which will sell for more money.

For every bit of wood that you chop down, you will be given EXP levels. These levels are what allows you to progress to the next forest zone, and can be tracked using /progress. You can use this command to also see how far away you are from unlocking the next zone in the Forest.

Lumberjack Axe Changes

This season we have updated the Lumberjack Axe to better suit the Woodcutting economy. The changes have been made to the way you obtain the axe, as well as the challenges you need to do to unlock tiers. You can no longer buy it from the/pshop. Instead, you will be able to purchase it from the Lumberjack at warp /forest.

Lumberjack & Miner’s Sets

Now become even more powerful when grinding with the awesome new Custom Armor sets! These sets give massive bonuses to the wearer while they're either mining ores or chopping down trees, and come in 3 tiers - common, rare, and legendary. Each tier of armor will give the wearer different bonuses.

You can obtain these armor pieces from random loot drops when actively chopping down trees in the Forest or mining ores in the Deep.

• Chance to double money from ore mined (10%)
  

Rare Rarity Full Set bonus

• Chance to double money from ore mined (15%)
• Chance to double tokens from ore mined (5%)
  

Legendary Rarity Full Set bonus

• Chance to double money from ore mined (25%)
• Chance to double tokens from ore mined (10%)
• 0.1% chance to break all ores around you in a 25x25 block area

Lumberjack Set

Common Rarity Full set bonus

• 2% increase to get a mcMMO reward drop
  

Rare Rarity Full Set bonus

• 4% increase to get a mcMMO reward drop
• 5% wood log Sell Booster
  

Legendary Rarity Full Set bonus

• 6% increase to get a mcMMO  reward drop
• 10% wood log Sell Booster
• 0.1% chance to break all wood logs around you in a 25x25 block area
