Skyblock: Mob Tools & Swords

Hello everyone! For this week's content update we are introducing brand new Mob Tools and Mob Swords to Skyblock! These powerful items are forged using the Enhanced Heads of fallen mobs, allowing you to harness their unique abilities for your own gain.

Mob Tools

Mob Tools are ancient relics empowered with the spirits of creatures to give them extremely powerful abilities. Every Mob Tool has a unique ability and comes pre-equipped with essential enchantments. You can forge empowered pickaxes, axes, and shovels. View everything you need to know about these tools using the /mobtools command.

Craft Mob Tools using the same recipe as ordinary tools, however where you would usually place diamonds, or iron and gold ingots, you instead use 16 Enhanced Mob Heads for the pickaxes and axes, and 48 for shovels.

Enhanced Mob Heads are created using ordinary Mob heads placed around a diamond block, meaning you'll need 8 normal Mob Heads to create 1 Enhanced Mob Head. Mob Heads are sometimes dropped from mobs that you kill, so be sure to save them up to create these awesome new tools!

Every pickaxe, axe or shovel you create using Enhanced Mob Heads will be efficiency 5, unbreaking 3. Each type of Mob Tool has a unique Special Ability, take a look at what you can expect to see when crafting these tools:

Blaze tools - Auto-smelts all items as they are mined - ores to ingots, logs to charcoal, sand to glass etc.
Creeper tools - Gain a 10% chance to cause a small explosion while breaking blocks, destroying other blocks that are nearby!
Rabbit tools - Hop like a bunny with an infinite Jump Boost II effect while holding your tool!
Cow tools - Whenever you mine a block with this tool, there's a chance some tasty Steak drops for you to enjoy!
Zombie Pigman tools - Travel quickly through any terrain with infinite Fire Resistance and Speed I effects while holding your tool!
Iron Golem tools - Gain a chance to double your drops when mining ores and chopping down trees!
Enderman tools - Blocks instantly travel directly to your inventory when mined, instead of dropping on the ground!
Silverfish tools - Grants an infinite Haste II effect while held, and gives increased chances for custom drops from The /Deep.

Mob Swords

Mob Swords are ancient weapons forged using the harvested spirits of creatures to make them extremely powerful in combat. Every Mob Sword has a unique ability and comes pre-equipped with essential enchantments, making them instantly PvP ready! You can view everything you need to know about these tools using the /mobswords command.

Craft Mob Swords using the same recipe as ordinary swords, however where you would usually place diamonds, or iron and gold ingots, you instead use 64 Enhanced Mob Heads, making a total of 128 required.

Every sword you create using Enhanced Mob Heads will be sharpness 6, unbreaking 3. Each type of Mob Sword has a unique Special Ability, so take a look at what you can expect to see when crafting these swords:

Blaze sword - Launch 3 fireballs to knockback your foes after sneaking while holding your sword for 3 seconds (3m cooldown)
Creeper sword - Gain a chance to spawn a charged creeper on an enemy when hitting them, as well as slowing them for 3 seconds! (1 creeper per area)
Zombie Pigman sword - Gain Strength III for 3 seconds after holding your sword in your hand for 3 seconds! (3m cooldown)
Iron Golem sword - Gain a chance for your sword to absorb 15% more damage while sneaking.
Enderman sword - Launches an enderpearl in the direction you're facing after sneaking while holding your sword for 3 seconds. (3m cooldown)
Spider sword - Chance to create a cobweb at an enemy's feet when hitting them.
Zombie sword - Chance to spawn a Zombie with health when hitting an enemy. (Max 4 zombies in 1 area)

Note: Mob Swords will not be going on Origins this season, however they may in the future.
