Greetings everyone, the newest season of Factions Onyx is here!
Realm Information
Map 23 of the realm will release on Saturday March 28th @ 3:00 PM EST/6:00 AM AEST/7:00 PM BST
Map Details:
- 45 man factions
- 3-second cannons
- Mining cost + f shield are set on Friday @ 3:00AM EST
- 20-day maps - 6 days of grace + 14 days of TNT
- No Regens
- Sugarcane Economy
- Custom Enchants
- $2,500 F-TOP - $1,500 Paypal, $1,000 Buycraft
- Overworld Border: 2500 x 2500
- Nether Border: 2500 x 2500
- End Border: 2500 x 2500
- Redworld Border: 2500 x 2500
- Grey Border: 2500 x 2500
- Mycelium Border: 250 x 250
Faction-Top Payouts
As usual, the first 6 days of grace period will have no payout. Here are the prizes for the payout placings:
- First Place: $1000 Paypal & $500 Buycraft
- Second Place: $300 PayPal & $300 Buycraft
- Third Place: $200 PayPal & $200 Buycraft
- Fourth Place: $100 Buycraft
- Fifth Place: $50 Buycraft
Note: FTOP will be paid out once per week that raiding is enabled. The amounts listed above are the total amounts we are giving away to the winners.
How do we get our payout if we win?
- Set your PayPal email on the server with the command: /paypal [email]
- Set your Buycraft email on the server with the command: /giftcard [email]

New Features
Lottery
Try your luck with the new Lottery system and you could win big bucks! Simply buy tickets via /lottery buy or /lotto buy to enter the draw, with winners being chosen every half an hour.
Each ticket costs $100,000 (100k) to purchase. Players can purchase up to 100 tickets per lottery draw. There needs to be a minimum of 250 entries for a lottery draw to take place. If the minimum requirement isn't hit when it's time to draw the winner, all players who entered will be refunded.
You can toggle whether you want to see announcements on screen or in chat for the lottery, see how long left until the next winner is chosen or just see how many tickets you've entered into the lottery this round. To configure these lottery settings, just do /lottery or /lotto.
Archon Pass Free Tracks
We have officially split the current Archon Pass up into a Free Track and a Premium Track.
This means that all players will now have access to their own Free Archon Pass filled with 100 challenges that you can complete to win rewards (use /pass in game). If you want to gain access to the Premium Track, you can purchase the Premium Archon Pass on our store.
What's the difference between the Free and Premium Tracks?
Players with the Archon Pass Premium Track will be able to unlock extra rewards per challenge completed as well as receive the base Free Track rewards. This means you get 2 rewards for each challenge you complete instead of the usual 1! The challenges will reset at the start of every new season so make sure you grind them out before the season ends.
Due to the Archon Pass resetting at the end of each season, you will need to repurchase the Premium Track to regain access to it's OP rewards for the next season.
New P Shop Item - Fish Sword
This brand new sword is a must have for grinding Silverfish. As you level the sword up, the chance to double your mob drops from Silverfish increases.
Enchants - Sharpness 5, Unbreaking 5
- Level 0 - 100 Silverfish killed to unlock - 0% Chance
- Level 1 - Another 5,000 Silverfish Killed - 25% Chance
- Level 2 - Another 10,000 Silverfish Killed - 50% Chance
- Level 3 - Another 20,000 Silverfish Killed - 100% Chance
Grab yourself a Fish Sword from the Player Shop at /p shop.
Outpost Rewards Changes
There will now be different rewards that you can get during Grace & TNT.
- Grace - 200k per 15 minutes, 2x MobCoin Buff, 1,5x Essence Buff
- TNT - 200k per 15 minutes, 2x MobCoin Buff, 2x Spawner Booster Buff & Resistance 1 given to all players in the faction while outpost is held
Mob Changes
We've made a few adjustments to Creepers and Silverfish to make them more balanced.
- Creeper spawners will now cost $1,500,000 in the shop with their maximum F Top value also being $1,500,000. The mining costs for Creeper spawners will be doubling to $600,000
- Creeper drop rates will now have a 25% chance to drop TNT instead of the current 40% during the majority of grace (During TNT there will still be the usual rate of 100%)
- Drop rates of Silverfish will now be 1 star per Silverfish killed
- There will now be 18 Silverfish spawners per area in the Mycelium World
Additional Changes
- You will now be able to receive a free Harvester Hoe from TheArchon Pass by voting once
- Poison Potions will be removed from the shop entirely
- Your Shield will now be able to start at any time during the 24 hour day
- Golden Apples (Crapples) will have an increase in cooldown from 15 seconds to 30 seconds
- On the day of payouts, F shields will automatically be disabled from 12PM EST - 5PM EST regardless of whether you have a shield active during that time
- Shields will now be 8 hours in length
