Skyblock: Origins Reset

Hey everyone, welcome to the Skyblock Origins reset post!

The newest map of Origins will be released this Saturday September 18th @ 1:00 PM EST / 3:00 AM AEST / 6:00 PM BST.

New Spawn

Let's jump right in! With the new reset comes an awesome new spawn, screenshots can be found below:

Economy

Along with the new spawn, we have spent some time reworking and re-balancing the Origins economy. The new economy document can be found here:

Island Top Payouts

Skyblock Origins has weekly Payouts for the top islands. Here's what you can expect to win:

1st: $200 Paypal
2nd: $50 Paypal & $90 Buycraft
3rd: $25 Paypal & $50 Buycraft
4th: $25 Buycraft
5th: $15 Buycraft

How do we get our payout if we win?

Set your PayPal email on the server with the command: /paypal [email]
Set your Buycraft email on the server with the command: /giftcard [email]

Fishing Lakes

We have made a significant update to fishing on Origins by adding a new progressive lake system with certain fish only being available to catch in certain lakes. You will now need to complete fishing challenges to unlock higher tiered lakes, which contain better fish and awesome rewards!

There are currently 5 lakes that you can progress through including the base level Harbor/Safe Lake, so take a look at some sneak peaks below:

Fish Museum

The Fish Museum is a new area inside of the Harbor, also known as the Safe Lake or Fish Warp. To access it, do /fish and click the Harbor option. This new area is a place for players to show off their fishing stats and fight for the podium position. As well as this, there are team leaderboards and more.

Trophy Fish

Introducing the super rare Trophy Fish! These fish will spawn randomly in each of the lakes, and players will be given clues as to where the location of the fish is so they can catch it. Once all 5 fish have been caught, 1 from each of the lakes, you'll receive an exclusive tag and Treasure Hunter fishing custom enchantment!

Fishing Tournaments

During Fishing festivals, players will also be competing against each other to see who can catch the most fish. Anyone that takes part will be placed into a division and will be able to claim their division rewards at /spawn.

There will be rewards given out every time the tournament takes place, these consist of money, crate keys, Mobcoins and more! The Divisions that you will be placed in are as follows:

Divisions:
- Bronze = Top 50% of fish caught
- Silver = Top 25% of fish caught
- Gold = Top 10% of fish caught
- Platinum = 2nd & 3rd place
- Champion = 1st place

Content Updates

As you may know already, we release content updates for Skyblock. This means that you won't have to wait for updates to be added just during the resets, instead you'll see new features added every month!

August Content Update

We have made a number of quality of life changes to various features on Skyblock. This includes adding brand new Death Messages and Kill Effects, and improving how Chunk Hoppers and Cobblestone Generators work.

July Content Update

We took a look at our existing pets on Skyblock and made some balancing changes, as well as added some awesome new pets that you can collect!

Mob Tools & Swords

Introducing brand new Mob Tools and Mob Swords! These powerful items are forged using the Enhanced Heads of fallen mobs, allowing you to harness their unique abilities for your own gain.
