Skyblock Origins Reset

Hey everyone, welcome to the Skyblock Origins reset post!

The newest map of Origins will be released this Saturday January 1st 2022 @ 1:00 PM EST / 3:00 AM AEST / 6:00 PM GMT

New Spawn

Let's jump right in! With the new reset comes an awesome underwater themed spawn, screenshots of this aquatic paradise can be found below:

Economy

Along with the new spawn, we have spent some time reworking and re-balancing the Origins economy. The new economy document can be found here:

Island Top Payouts

Skyblock Origins has weekly Payouts for the top islands. Here's what you can expect to win:

1st: $200 Paypal
2nd: $50 Paypal & $90 Buycraft
3rd: $25 Paypal & $50 Buycraft
4th: $25 Buycraft
5th: $15 Buycraft

How do we get our payout if we win?

Set your PayPal email on the server with the command: /paypal [email]
Set your Buycraft email on the server with the command: /giftcard [email]

Poseidon's Trident

Introducing the brand new Poseidon's Trident item, a powerful relic that once belonged to the almighty Sea God Poseidon, then was lost in the darkest depths of the vast oceans for a millennia. You, the chosen one, are drawn towards it's hiding place after all this time, and unearth it's immense power for your own personal gain.

To activate Poseidon's Trident, you must catch fish with the item in your inventory. Once fully charged, you can right-click it to summon a random Sea Boss. The higher the level of the Trident, the better the Sea Bosses that spawn. There will be multiple different types of bosses, with the player who summons the boss getting priority when it comes to loot.

You can craft Poseidon's Trident using fish nets, shark teeth and Aquatic Gemstone or purchase it from our server store here.

Fish Backpack Buffs

We have increased the size of the Fish Backpacks, which includes their upgrades. Here are the new sizes that you can look forward to seeing after the reset this weekend:

200 slots default (when first purchased)
250 slots requirement - 1500 fish caught requirement
300 slots requirement - 3000 fish caught requirement
400 slots requirement - 5/5 trophy fish caught + 4500 fish caught requirement

Additional Changes

Here are a few additional changes to some popular features on Origins:

In the MobShop, there are the following changes:
- Evoker price increased by 20%
- Regular rotation purchase limit increased from 3 to 5
Infinity Chests have had their tax increased by 5%

Content Updates

As you may know already, we release content updates for Skyblock. This means that you won't have to wait for updates to be added just during the resets, instead you'll see new features added frequently!

September Content Update

For this month's content update we introduced an update to The Deep, that allows you to mine Shards to create the Quarry, as well as fight the new mini bosses!

August Content Update

We have made a number of quality of life changes to various features on Skyblock. This includes adding brand new Death Messages and Kill Effects, and improving how Chunk Hoppers and Cobblestone Generators work.

July Content Update

We took a look at our existing pets on Skyblock and made some balancing changes, as well as added some awesome new pets that you can collect!
