Hey everyone, welcome to the Skyblock Origins reset announcement!

The new Origins map will be released this Saturday, December 3rd @ 1:00 PM EST / 4:00 AM AEST / 6:00 PM GMT.

Island Top Payouts

Skyblock Origins has weekly Payouts for the top islands. Here's what you can expect to win:

1st: $200 Paypal
2nd: $50 Paypal & $90 Buycraft
3rd: $25 Paypal & $50 Buycraft
4th: $25 Buycraft
5th: $15 Buycraft

How do we get our payout if we win?

1. Set your PayPal email on the server with the command: /paypal [email]
2. Set your Buycraft email on the server with the command: /giftcard [email]

New Rod Upgrades

In the upcoming season of Origins, you can look forward to seeing 2 new Rod Upgrades for your Custom Rods!

• Can of Worms: Chance to receive more Mobcoins/Money when selling at Fisherman NPC.
• Fishing Net: Chance to reel-in special rewards alongside fishing.

These physical upgrades are obtainable via /fishspin - here you can spin at the cost of 2,500 MobCoins per spin. Each upgrade has max durability that degrades every time the fishing rod is cast - this means that eventually your upgrade will run out, and you'll need to spin for a new one. After obtaining your new upgrade, you'll need to add it to your rod via /upgraderod.

Additional Changes

Last but not least, here a handful of miscellaneous changes that have been added to the new season of Origins.

• The Rod Forge's required upgrades have been reduced from 15 to 7.
• The length that Festivals run for has been reduced, however the time between Festivals has also been reduced - this means that you'll find Festivals running more frequently throughout the day.
• Fishing mcMMO rewards have received a buff.

Last Reset

During the last Origins reset, we added Mob Souls - a  new currency that you can earn on your islands by killing mobs! As well as this, the Rod Forge was introduced, allowing you to combine old fishing rods into a higher tier! Check out the information here:
