Outlands Reset
Hello everyone! Today we are happy to announce that on Saturday January 16th @ 2:00 PM EST / 6:00 AM AEST / 7:00 PM BST. we will be resetting the Outlands gamemode!
Top 5 Payouts
The map will last 3 weeks. Payouts are evaluated every Friday at 5PM EST - The 1st week after the wipe will not have payouts, only the 2nd and 3rd weeks.
Weekly Rewards:
- First Place: $150 PayPal & $120 Buycraft
- Second Place: $100 PayPal & $70 Buycraft
- Third Place: $55 Buycraft
- Forth Place: $35 Buycraft
- Fifth Place: $25 Buycraft
How do we get our payout if we win?
- Set your PayPal email on the server with the command: /paypal [email]
- Set your Buycraft email on the server with the command: /giftcard [email]
Conqueror Ranking
As an incentive to not kill peaceful players (users with less than 10 hours of gameplay), you can earn Buycraft rewards for having the highest amount of points in the Conqueror ranking system.
This reward is evaluated on the last Friday of the season at 5:00PM EST.
Season Rewards:
- First Place: $30 Buycraft
- Second Place: $20 Buycraft
- Third Place: $15 Buycraft
- Forth Place: $10 Buycraft
- Fifth Place: $10 Buycraft

10th Season
The upcoming season of Outlands will be the 10th season, time really does fly! After recently hitting our 1 year mark, we've taken time to reflect on how far the realm has come in the past year; how much care and dedication has been put in by our developers and staff members, as well as the immense commitment that we've seen from our awesome community. We'd like to thank you all for spending your precious time playing on Outlands, and for helping mold the realm into the fun, competitive place it is today.
To celebrate this landmark, we will be introducing some new features that really capture the Outlands spirit. Grab your friends and take a look!
King of the Hill - Middle Biome
We know how much you enjoy PvP and highly competitive situations, so we'll be adding a new KoTH area to the Middle Biome! Grab your clan members and dominate the capture zone right underneath the Oil Rig.
The clan that can successfully capture the KoTH region by staying inside the area for 1 minute, will receive a triple resources buff in the Middle Biome for 30 minutes. After the KoTH zone has been captured, no other clan will be able to capture it again for 30 minutes.
As well as this, if your clan captures the region once, then you will need to wait 5 hours before you can dominate it again. This gives other clans the opportunity to fight for the epic Middle Biome buff.
Illegal Farms
We want to avoid creating a mostly AFKable server, or a server where you don't need to spend a lot of time grinding resources to earn a lot of points and be in the payout rankings. As a result of this, we will be decreasing the points that Ethanol gives you when you put it in the Warehouse, from 20 points to 4 points.
We hope that this will encourage more grinding and hard work, instead of not doing much on the server, or being offline most of the time then coming online to reap the rewards.
Champions Event
Introducing the brand new PvP event that allows the top 8 clans to battle for the Payouts. The Champions Event will take place one day before Payouts, meaning it'll only happen 2 times a season - on the Thursday of the 2nd and 3rd weeks at 4pm EST.
Your clan must be in the top 8 rankings to be able to take part in the event. These 8 clans will then be teleported to a new arena where they must battle against another clan in a duel with preset items. Players won't be able to bring their own gear to the event, so it will truly be an equal battle.
The 4 clans that win their duels will face off in a semi-final duel. The winners of the semi-finals will battle in a grand final, where we will find an overall winner clan. If any clan does not attend the event, then the clan that would have been fighting them will win the round by default.
The clan that wins in the final match will get a permanent Champion tag, and gains 20% of the total clan points from the top 5 clans - for example, if the top 5 clans have a total of 10 million points between them, then the winner of the event will get 2 million points.
Mining Quarry Buff
Mining Quarries have been given a buff on the ores that you can receive from them, thus making Ethanol more valuable as it is needed to create fuel. Not only this, the Mining Quarry has been given a brand new look, now looking better than ever before!
Additional Information
- 24h of Grace Period.
- Same clan roster (5 and 6 members with upgrade)
- Tierlock period remains the same (Tool Cupboards as well).
- Decreased the cost to expand the Tool Cupboard areas by 20%.
- Added an exclusive Mining Quarry buff to the Buffs crate.
- Fixed an issue of getting haste when mining - improving the King Mask usage.
- Players can now use Guardian Shields in non-warehouse tool cupboards.
- Increased the EXP required to upgrade Axes level 20+.
- Added a research table to the Middle Biome (at the bridges, not oilrig).
- Fixed terrain issues with stone ores under it.
- Fixed base carpets not spawning properly.
- Players who log out in the duel arena will now die.
- Added a new resource pack model for leaves.
- Changed the Bounty event color in the minimap.
- Removed from the Bounty event message the Attachment Crate reward.
- Option to rename the bed name under the /bed command.
- Buffed the SPAS12 gun damage.
- A few other small changes.
Free PvP Kit
Right after Friday’s Payout @ 6:00PM EST, any players on Outlands will receive a PvP + Building kit for FREE as a thank you for playing on the server. This Kit will contain guns, equipment, blocks and also few C4 explosives, so be sure to join and have some fun practicing your building, raiding & PvP skills before the merge! These kits will not be available after the wipe so use them while you can.
