Outlands Reset

Hello everyone! Today we are happy to announce that on Saturday December 26th @ 2:00 PM EST / 6:00 AM AEST / 7:00 PM BST. we will be resetting the Outlands gamemode!

Top 5 Payouts

The map will last 3 weeks. Payouts are evaluated every Friday at 5PM EST - The 1st week after the wipe will not have payouts, only the 2nd and 3rd weeks.

Weekly Rewards:

• First Place: $150 PayPal & $120 Buycraft
• Second Place: $100 PayPal & $70 Buycraft
• Third Place: $55 Buycraft
• Forth Place: $35 Buycraft

New Map

For the next season of Outlands, we're introducing a brand new map with military-themed cities and 5 different biomes - the middle biome being the home to the infamous Oil Rig, and 4 biomes in each of the map's corners. We also kept the 4 caves marked by the purple square that you can find around the map.

Conqueror Ranking

As an incentive to not kill peaceful players (users with less than 10 hours of gameplay), we’re introducing Buycraft rewards for the Conqueror ranking system that was added last season.

This reward is evaluated on the last Friday of the season at 5:00PM EST.

Season Rewards:

• First Place: $30 Buycraft
• Second Place: $20 Buycraft
• Third Place: $15 Buycraft
• Forth Place: $10 Buycraft
• Fifth Place: $10 Buycraft

Expansion Tierlock

We will be introducing a Base Expansion Tierlock system to this next wipe, to help make it more fair for all players, by not allowing powerful clans to expand too quickly.

When the new season goes live, everyone will be able to expand their bases up to tier 5, however tiers 6 - 12 will become available after a certain amount of time has passed.

Upgradable Axes

After analyzing our recent survey results and discussing it thoroughly with the Outlands Councillors* we have decided to make a large amount of changes to axes, which include Wooden Axe, Stone Axe, Iron Axe and King Axe.

With this new update, every time you gather a log using an axe, you’ll receive a certain amount of EXP to level it up. Every time you level your axe up, it will receive a random enchantment.

King Axes will still get an initial advantage and a higher level-up cap compared to the other normal axes.

The Chopping Axe will not get the upgradable update, and it’ll still work the same as usual. As well as this, axes with enchantments (efficiency, unbreaking, etc) will no longer be obtained from barrels.

*The Outlands Council is extremely important as it allows players to speak directly with developers and senior Outlands staff, where upcoming features and issues will be discussed in depth. If you're interested in an Outland Council role, our applications are open, and you can apply via -ticket on our Discord server.

C4 Explosion Changes

We're slightly changing the way that C4s and Homemade Explosives affect bases. Their explosions will now no longer affect the blocks underneath the region in which the explosive was placed. Here's an image that explains where blocks will be affected - the blocks highlighted in green will be impacted by explosives.

This change means that if you want to raid a base, you must use your explosives on the side of the base. Base owners are now able to add different protections above their flat base areas without the fear of being raided due to players using those blocks as a “support” to place explosives.

Clan Roster

We recently hosted a survey in-game asking you what clan member limit you wanted to see during the next map. As a result of this survey, we are changing the clan slots limit to 5 players and 6 with the upgrade feature. Be sure to read over our rules before playing the next season.

• Removed the Wireframe Gun from the game (survey results).
• Conquerors will not lose points by killing peaceful players that attack them first.
• Buffed the floor rewards from the King crate.
• Added buffs back to Hydra and Darius crates.
• Increased the chance to get better rewards on the Premium crate.
• Added more Premium crates to insignia and rank kits.
• Increased the % chance of crafting armor/guns with rarity.
• Added anti-freekill verification on the Conqueror ranking.
• TC raids will now provide 50% of the illegal plants inside it (similar to orepiles).
• Added recipe crafting limit on the titanium door.
• Highly improved the season shop.
• New ranking for highest amount of illegal farms harvested.
• Added a new King Helmet with haste as a perk while equipped.
• Added exclusive individual and clan buffs to the Buff crate.

Free PvP Kit

Right after Friday’s Payout @ 6:00PM EST, any players on Outlands will receive a PvP + Building kit for FREE as a thank you for playing on the server. This Kit will contain guns, equipment, blocks and also few C4 explosives, so be sure to join and have some fun practicing your building, raiding & PvP skills before the merge! These kits will not be available after the wipe so use them while you can.
