Outlands Reset

Hello everyone! Today we are happy to announce that on Saturday May 1st @ 2:00 PM EST / 6:00 AM AEST / 7:00 PM BST. we will be resetting the Outlands gamemode!

Top 5 Payouts

The map will last 3 weeks. Payouts are evaluated every Friday at 5PM EST - The 1st week after the wipe will not have payouts, only the 2nd and 3rd weeks.

Weekly Rewards:

Conqueror Ranking

As an incentive to not kill peaceful players (users with less than 10 hours of gameplay), you can earn Buycraft rewards for having the highest amount of points in the Conqueror ranking system.

This reward is evaluated on the last Friday of the season at 5:00PM EST.

Mining Quarry Rework

We have completely reworked the Mining Quarry for the upcoming season of Outlands, including giving it a brand new resource pack look and updated features.

We've been taking into consideration the feedback we've received from the community over the past few seasons, and have decided to change the Mining Quarry's functionality. The main feature of the newly updated Quarry is to automatically mine Orepiles.

So how does this work? Mining Quarries will continue to mine resources when fuel has been added to them, however if you have Orepiles inside your base area, the Mining Quarry will mine blocks from those Orepiles.

As well as this, Quarries will store all of the EXP that was collected from mining the Orepile blocks. For example, if the Mining Quarry mines up an iron ore block, then the exp you'd receive from mining that block normally will go into the Quarry to be later collected. The owner of the Mining Quarries will be able to collect all of the accumulated EXP in the Quarry's menu whenever they wish.

Mining Quarries now have upgrades that you can work towards. You can upgrade functionalities such as mining speed, ore storage space and EXP storage space. Iron Bases will be required to upgrade these functions.

Orepile Improvements

Collecting resources are an essential aspect of Outlands, as with them you can reinforce your base, craft PvP items or raid other users. Orepiles haven't been given some love for quite a while now, so for this upcoming season we've made a number of improvements.

Orepiles will now have a chance to drop Iron Bases when you mine ores from them - Mining Quarries will also gather Iron Bases when they're mining Orepiles, which will be automatically sent to their storage areas.

When mining Orepiles, the default EXP rate of ores around the map will be received. For example, if you're mining iron ore that spawns from your Orepile, you'll get 2 EXP instead of the previous Orepile cap of 1 EXP for any ore.

You can now obtain Orepiles from quests and Orepile crates. Make sure to complete all of your quests to gain a few Orepiles to speed up your progress!

Wave Mobspawn Event

As a measure to introduce more custom features to the minimap, we'll be adding a brand new Mobspawn Event, which brings back aspects of the old "farm area" that was present during our first seasons.

There will be 10 different Mob respawn locations around the map, and every hour one of these areas will begin spawning a strong wave of mobs for 1 hour. When the hour is up, a new area on a different part of the map will begin spawning waves of mobs.

No one will know where the mobs are spawning unless they search around the map, or if they obtain a Mobspawn Tip - found in Supply Crates. When one of these items are used, a blue area will appear on your minimap showing you where the current Wave Mobspawn event is.

New Bounty & Koth Events

We've spent some time working on our Bounty and KoTH events, improving the way they function in Outlands day-to-day life. Previously, these events were removed while we focused on making changes to the features, and this season we look to bring back the whole new and improved versions.

Bounty
The Bounty event will happen 2 times a day in the Middle Biome. When the event is announced, players will have 3 minutes to join the Middle Biome area to take part. After the timer is up, one player will be chosen to have the Bounty on them, and their coordinates will then be posted in chat. Players will then need to locate and kill the player with the Bounty. When they have been killed, the Bounty loot will drop from them for you to collect.

If the player leaves the Middle Biome or disconnects from the server, a hologram will appear in the place they logged out or left. Everyone will then have 2 minutes to reach the coordinates of the hologram, after which the reward will drop on the floor, prompting you to battle other players to take it as your own.

KoTH
The King of the Hill event will happen once a day, with a brand new map and significant improvements and fixes that will make the event more enjoyable for everyone.

Alongside fixing various issues relating to KoTH, we've added kits that everyone will receive when taking part in the event. The clan who gets the most points from dominating the KoTH platform wins the event.

You can view the timings for each event that happens throughout the day on Outlands, by using /schedule in-game.

T3 & King Tool Drops

Tier 3 and King Tools will now no longer drop until the Kevlar Tierlock has been reached (72 hours after the season begins). After this, T3 will always have a 100% drop chance, regardless of where you are on the map when you drop it. King Tools will not be dropped if you're in the wilderness, however there will be a 50% chance to drop them while in the Middle Biome or at the Caves.

Additional Information

• Grace Period increased to 72 hour.
• Tierlock period remains the same (cupboards as well).
• Improved the rank kits with new drops.
• Clan size remains the same (4 players or 5 with the upgrade permission).
• Increased the points obtained from placing Ethanol in the Warehouse.
• Increased the chance to get a VSS or M249 from Supply Drops.
• Players are now able to bring their own items to the arena duels (besides being able to use the arena kits).
• Added 3 new Tool Cupboard levels, enabling you to upgrade the TC area to level 15.
• Decreased the chance of getting helicopters in various areas of the game.
• Increased the damage of Grenades.
• Increased the charge uses of Protection Stars (free and premium).
• Fixed incorrect ores in specific mountains on the map.
• Increased the chance of obtaining Mythic equipment from the craft with rarity attribute.

Free PvP Kit

Right after Friday’s Payout @ 6:00PM EST, any players on Outlands will receive a PvP + Building kit for FREE as a thank you for playing on the server. This Kit will contain guns, equipment, blocks and also few C4 explosives, so be sure to join and have some fun practicing your building, raiding & PvP skills before the merge! These kits will not be available after the wipe so use them while you can.
