Outlands Reset

Hello everyone! Today we are happy to announce that on Saturday July 3rd @ 2:00 PM EST / 6:00 AM AEST / 7:00 PM BST. we will be resetting the Outlands gamemode!

Top 5 Payouts

The map will last 3 weeks. Payouts are evaluated every Friday at 5PM EST - The 1st week after the wipe will not have payouts, only the 2nd and 3rd weeks.

Weekly Rewards:

• First Place: $150 PayPal & $120 Buycraft
• Second Place: $100 PayPal & $70 Buycraft
• Third Place: $55 Buycraft
• Forth Place: $35 Buycraft
• Fifth Place: $25 Buycraft
  

How do we get our payout if we win?

Conqueror Ranking

As an incentive to not kill peaceful players (users with less than 10 hours of gameplay), you can earn Buycraft rewards for having the highest amount of points in the Conqueror ranking system.

This reward is evaluated on the last Friday of the season at 5:00PM EST.

Season Rewards:

• First Place: $30 Buycraft
• Second Place: $20 Buycraft
• Third Place: $15 Buycraft
• Forth Place: $10 Buycraft
• Fifth Place: $10 Buycraft

Base Reinforcement

We've made some big changes to how you can reinforce your bases using blocks, to allow the game to be more casual for this upcoming season. This means that you will no longer be able to craft or obtain Tier 4 and Tier 5 blocks, making Tier 3 blocks the highest block you can use.

We're interested to see how this will change life on Outlands, so be sure to invite your friends to take part in this more casual season! We're hoping that with less pressure to build a high tier base, that it will be more enjoyable for all players.

New Crates

In a measure to improve the game in terms of diversity and making it less pay-to-win, we are completely changing all of our in-game crates. Previously we introduced niche crates that had their own theme of items, for example attachment or PvP crates. We felt that these were unnecessary, unbalanced and didn't work as we intended them to work.

There will be 5 tiers of crate: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary and Mythic. Common crates can be purchased in the PvP shop or Season Shop, and the rest will be added to our server store here before Saturday when the realm releases, to give you a chance to see what they have to offer.

Each crate will have a large variety of items, and you're guaranteed to get at least one item that is useful or needed, without the risk of just getting tags or unimportant items. As well as this, in each crate there's a chance to get a higher tier of crate, so you could get an Uncommon from a Common Crate, or a Legendary from a Rare crate.

Ranks Kit Improvements

Following on from our Crates improvements, we will be significantly buffing all of the rank kits for the upcoming season.

Each weekly kit will contain different crate tiers, so be sure to log in and collect your crate when you can! The higher the rank, the higher the tier of crate that you will get in your kit.

Raid Barriers

We've been listening to the community's feedback in regards to raiding. Many players said that it was difficult to raid as defenders had more advantages, as well as third party players interrupting raids thus making it hard for raids to be concluded.

As a result of this, we are adding a new mechanic that will create a red glass barrier around a base, after the raid-timer begins. The barriers will be located around the base that you're raiding, and only players who are raiding or defending can pass through it. Players who are not in either of these teams will not be able to pass through the barrier while the raid is taking place.

Clan Slots

For the upcoming Outlands season we have decided to significantly decrease the clan slots to 3 members with no upgrades, or 4 members with upgrades. We hope that this creates more competition as there will be an increased amount of small groups.

Additional Information

• 72 hours of Grace Period.
• Tierlock period remains the same (cupboards as well).
• Attachments when used on shotguns will give 10, 20, 30, 45 and 60% of effect, respectively (instead of 2, 4, 6%..)
• Alien Mask's buff has been changed, and now will have a perfect shooting accuracy buff (no need to shoot using SHIFT/Aiming), instead of previously protecting against Molotovs or Flashbang effects.
• Limited the numbers of Wireframes and Landmines to be placed on tool cupboards based on the TC level.
• Decreased the price of all products in the PvP Shop.
• Tier 3 and King Swords will now have a low chance of dropping explosives when killing mobs.
• Double barrel will now have 2 ammo on its clip.
• The recruitment menu will now show all the online players in the server that aren’t currently in a clan.
• Improved the description of the Tool Cupboard menu.
• As mentioned in the previous announcement post, all in-game Orepiles from the old Outlands 1X and 2X are being reset - Orepiles can now be obtained in the new crates!

Free PvP Kit

Right after Friday’s Payout @ 6:00PM EST, any players on Outlands will receive a PvP + Building kit for FREE as a thank you for playing on the server. This Kit will contain guns, equipment, blocks and also few C4 explosives, so be sure to join and have some fun practicing your building, raiding & PvP skills before the merge! These kits will not be available after the wipe so use them while you can.
