Prison Reset - Additional Info
The current season of Prison has come to an end and the realm will be resetting this Saturday April 23rd @ 2:00 PM EDT / 5:00 AM AEST / 7:00 PM BST.
This post is to give Prison players some additional information and clarification when it comes to some of the changes we've made for the upcoming season. As well as this, we've received a lot of great feedback from the community that has allowed us to make some additional changes ahead of the reset on Saturday.
We always appreciate the feedback we receive from the Prison council members and the general community, we hear your responses and hope that you'll enjoy the updated features and new season!

Prison Reset
The current season of Prison has come to an end and the realm will be resetting this Saturday April 23rd @ 2:00 PM EDT / 5:00 AM AEST / 7:00 PM BST. In this upcoming season of Prison, we are making a large number of changes. This includes removing features

New Spawn

Candyland Buffs
In the original Prison reset post, we didn't put into writing just how much Candyland has been buffed as a result of the removal of certain features. The buffs that have been made to Candyland are huge!
We know that due to the buffs, harvesting trees in Candyland will be the best way to get Tokens in the early game, and the entire economy will revolve around this. You can expect to receive anywhere from between 500 to 100,000 Tokens in a drop, with the overall drop rate increasing.
As well as receiving Tokens, there's an increased chance for you to get other rewards such as crate keys and the Tunneler Pickaxe. It is definitely worth taking the time early game to grind out Candyland!
Dust
After some discussion, prison players were concerned that after purchasing the listed enchantments from the /blackmarket, there would be nothing left to grind for. To counter this and prevent pay-to-win, we've added some requirements to certain enchantments so that players need to play to game to unlock them.
Now, players must reach certain Prestige levels before the enchantments can be activated on their pickaxes. You can still purchase and have restricted enchantments on your pickaxes even if you don't reach the required Prestige level, however, the enchantment itself won't actually activate whilst mining unless you've reached the designated Prestige level.
Enchantment Books
From our understanding, players didn't like how enchantment books were restricted to crates. This is due to miscommunication, as we did not mention the additional places that you can receive books from.
You can look to find enchantment books in other areas around the server, including Candyland, free /Archonpass, Freeworld, and more. We're also looking to add them in other areas.
Lastly, we've buffed the chances of getting Fortune 1,000 in the Enchantment Crate key. The chances have been doubled, so you'll have a higher chance of getting it than before.
Fishing
Fishing is back with a twist! One of the topics that were discussed the most amongst the community was the fate of Custom Fishing on Prison. We'll be keeping Custom Fishing however, it has been nerfed quite heavily.
This means that the amount of Tokens that you receive has been significantly reduced, thus the economy no longer revolves around it, and instead, Candyland will take the top seat.
Despite this, fishing is still a good way for casual players to take a break from mainstream mining, all while still gaining some rewards for their time.
Minebreaker
The prison community has voiced their concerns over the reintroduction of the Minebreaker enchantment, and rightly so - as previously it was removed due to being overpowered.
As a result of this, we've limited the number of blocks that Minebreaker destroys based on your Prestige level, so that the enchantment can still be quite powerful early game, but not hugely overpowered. Additionally, all of the previous exploits have been patched.
Now, when Minebreaker activates, it'll destroy a certain percentage of the mine depending on which Prestige category you are in. Take a look:
- Prestige 75+ - 100% of mine destroyed
- Prestige 50 to 75 - 80% of mine destroyed
- Prestige 40 to 50 - 60% of mine destroyed
- Prestige 30 to 40 - 40% of mine destroyed
- Prestige 20 to 30 - 20% of mine destroyed
- Below Prestige 20 - 10% of mine destroyed
