Prison 1.18 Reset

Hey everyone, welcome to the Prison reset announcement!

The current season of Prison has come to an end and the realm will be resetting this Sunday November 27th @ 10:00 AM EST / 1:00 AM AEST / 3:00 PM GMT.

Payouts

We have weekly payouts for Plot Top. The prizes are as follows:

• 1st: $200 Paypal‌‌
• 2nd: $50 Paypal, $90 Buycraft‌‌
• 3rd: $25 Paypal, $50 Buycraft‌‌
• 4th: $25 Buycraft‌‌
• 5th: $15 Buycraft

You can win prizes if you're in one of the top 3 places in Prestige Top. The payouts for Prestige Top are:

• 1st: $50 Paypal‌‌
• 2nd: $30 Buycraft‌‌
• 3rd: $20 Buycraft

Blocks Mined Payouts are as follows:

• 1st: $50 Paypal‌‌
• 2nd: $30 Buycraft‌‌
• 3rd: $20 Buycraft

You can view the current standings for Prestige Top and Block Mined by finding the NPCs at spawn.

Map Points

Each week, the top three teams will be given the following points:

• 1st Place - 3 Points
• 2nd Place - 2 Points
• 3rd Place - 1 Point

These will be manually given out after the payouts and strike reports for the week have been fully dealt with.

Players who are members of teams in the top 3 positions will have numbers next to their name in chat depending on what position they're in. Show off in chat that you're the best Prison player on the server!

Team Size
For the upcoming season of Prison, there will be up to 7 players per team with an opportunity to upgrade it to 9.

All Things 1.18

We're excited to say that Prison has been updated to version 1.18! You can look forward to seeing a whole bunch of changes that we've added with the updated Minecraft version. This includes 4 new plots to choose from that incorporate 1.18 blocks, all of them fitting Prison's Jurassic theme - here's a sneak-peek:

LostWorld

Introducing the LostWorld - a large, dense jungle, full of secrets that are ready for you to discover. Cut your way through the luscious foliage and find Fossils of creatures who lived long ago...

As a result of the LostWorld addition, we will be removing Candyland from Prison. This new world is home to multiple important features and will be vital for progression and making your way to the top. Head on over to the LostWorld using the /lostworld command.

Trees
In the LostWorld there will be many trees to cut down, and doing so will give you rewards and drops. Breaking trees could earn you from between 2,500 to 50,000 Tokens, or some cool rare Titles.

However, you can only chop down these trees to receive drops using the new Custom Axes. There are 4 variations of Custom Axe that you can use - Basic Axe, Sharpened Blade Axe, Polished Axe, and Reinforced Axe. Each of these axes are purchasable from the Lumberjack at the LostWorld warp using normal in-game currency.

Custom Ores
When exploring the LostWorld, you will also stumble upon something unfamiliar... Fossils! These new Custom Ores and come in 3 types - Prehistoric, Extinct, and Predator. You'll need to mine these special ores to create the new Custom Pickaxes, each one with their own unique power!

• Prehistoric Fossils
  These can be mined using a diamond pickaxe, and players must be at least Prestige 5 to begin mining Prehistoric Fossils. The Prehistoric pickaxe can be created using these fossils, and when equipped you'll have a 1.5x EXP Booster.
• Extinct Fossils
  These can be mined using a Prehistoric pickaxe, and players must be at least Prestige 30 to begin mining Extinct Fossils. The Extinct pickaxe can be created using these fossils, and when equipped you'll have a 1.75x EXP Booster and a 1.5x Token Booster.
• Predator Fossils
  These can be mined using an Extinct pickaxe, and players must be at least Prestige 50 to begin mining Extinct Fossils. The Extinct pickaxe can be created using these fossils, and when equipped you'll have a 2x EXP Booster, a 2x Token Booster, and Tunneler 1.

The better the pickaxe you use, the faster you can break these Custom Ores. You must mine 9 stacks of ore in order to craft 1 pickaxe in our brand new custom menu.

Boss Reward Shop

We've made a handful of changes to the rewards you receive from fighting Bosses on Prison, making redeeming rewards that little bit easier. When the reset goes live this weekend, you will no longer receive chests upon defeating bosses, instead you will receive Boss Credits.

• Easy Dungeons will give 5 credits per boss you defeat.
• Medium Dungeons will give 10 credits per boss you defeat.
• Hard Dungeons will give 15 credits per boss you defeat.
• Extreme Dungeons will give 25 credits per boss you defeat.

The new Boss Credits can be spent in our new Boss Shop via /BossShop. Save up your credits and purchase different items such as Crate Keys, a brand new Tag as well as an Upgrader Book.

Fossils

On Prison, Dust has been replaced with Fossils. You must purchase the new FossilMiner enchantment to be able to find Fossils as you mine, as well as earn Fossils in the LostWorld when breaking down trees. These fossils can be used in the Fossil Shop via /FossilShop, where you can purchase JackHammer and Dimension Hopper enchantment books - all for 200 Fossils each.

FreeWorld Updates

The FreeWorld still remains as the main place to  complete challenges and earn the Fortune 1000 book. As a result of the realm being updated to 1.18, the FreeWorld now comes with a whole new host of challenges and all previous challenges have been made compatible with higher version mobs.

Skills Revamp

Skills have been revamped to be more hands-off and easy to progress. You will now passively collect skill EXP as you play, and will gain perks without having to select or purchase them in any way. Aside from these previous buffs, they have been updated to be more balanced. View them using the /skills command in-game.

MineBreaker Change

The MineBreaker enchantment has received some changes to help better balance it. You will now be charged to use the MineBreaker enchantment. With this change, you will need to meet the required amount of charges on your enchantment in order for it to activate.

You can check your current charge count by typing /Minebreaker in chat. Each charge counts as 1 raw block broken and you will need 10,000 charges to activate your Minebreaker enchant.

Additional Changes

Last but not least, here are a number of miscellaneous changes:

• We have added the ability to merge together your backpacks using the command /mergebackpack - Be careful though, as once you've merged your backpacks, this can not be undone. No longer will you have to carry around multiple backpacks that take up slots!
• Autominer has been buffed to make it more viable.
• The Resistance 2 enchantment has been removed from Triceratops armor, however the Protection level has been increased to 12 to still give it an edge over other armor sets.
• Previously, Merchant would give you a chance to sell with a Sell Booster, now it will activate every time you sell with it. As a result, the Merchant Sell Booster has been reduced from what it used to be to balance it out, and the higher your prestige level, the higher your Sell Booster will be.
• Fixed numerous bugs from previous seasons.
